Welcome to the Educated RN site. This site is designed primarily for the new graduate, soon to be, or relatively new RN, but can be useful to anyone in the the Medical field who wishes to extend their knowledge base and/or would like to have some useful tools and links at their mouse tip.
If your a new graduate who has not yet been licensed. I would like to first say congratulations. My hats off to you for a job well done. I would like to recommend that you start off clicking on the link labeled "New grad. info". In this link you will find lots of useful information to get you started off on the right foot and on your way to getting your license.
If you are already done with the Nclex test and are already a licensed RN or other person in the medical field you may want to check out one of the links to help better yourself recognizing heart and lung sounds or maybe the links to the medical terminology/ abbreviations / or dictionary is for you.
If you were a member of the Eastern Kentucky University nursing program class that started in the spring of 2002 and was scheduled to graduate in the fall of 2003 make sure you visit the "Eastern KY Univ." link and check out the links specially for you. Also, I would appreciate it if you would save this site to your favorites so you will have your classmates contact info at your will via the "EKU links".
